T.A.S. Communications Wins CAM-X Award of Excellence

For over 50 years, T.A.S. Communications has been offering leading-edge solutions to their clients’ specific communication needs.  For 19 of those years, their Call Answering Service on Bridge Street in the downtown of Belleville has consistently delivered such superior customer service that they have recently been honoured with the prestigious CAM-X Award of Excellence.  And, as a nineteen-time winner, T.A.S. Communications has also earned Diamond Plus recognition.  “The CAM-X Award of Excellence is a proven benchmarking program that enhances customer service for the Telephone Answering Service Industry throughout North America and the world." CAM-X President Debbie Lacovonesaid in her congratulations to T.A.S. Communications on their achievement of consistent, professional customer service levels that not only meet but exceed industry standards.

“We are proud to have offered our distinguished customer base, consisting of local, national and international industry leaders in the health care, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, academic, distribution and private business fields, a level of professional and courteous service sufficient to garner such a prestigious award.” expressed President, Kristin Crowe.  “It is a great accomplishment that deserves attention.”

Long time employee Joyce Dutrisac-Johnson, clearly thrilled at being part of the team recognized for the award, was honoured that her passion for serving callers and customers alike with warm and expert assistance has been acknowledged with this award.  Operations Manager, Cathy Childerhose, speaks with obvious and well-deserved pride when reflecting on the skill set of her team of Customer Service Representatives.  “Answering for hundreds of different businesses and agencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week requires an attention to detail and professionalism that is hard earned.  We have an amazing team.” says Childerhose.  “There’s no doubt, there is a lot of excitement here.”

Communications was recently presented the Award of Excellence at the CAM-X 51st Annual Convention and Trade Show, held at the Hilton Doubletree in Charleston, South Carolina. “We are very thankful for the trust our customers have placed in us and for the dedicated team of professionals who work with us.” said General Manager, Denise Reynolds.  “We look forward to continuing both relationships!”

T.A.S. Communications Wins CAM-X Award of Excellence 

T.A.S. Communications has been honoured with the exclusive 2013 Award of Excellence for the seventeenth consecutive year.  The Award is presented annually by the Canadian Call Management Association (CAM-X), the industry’s Trade Association for providers of call centre services including telephone answering and message delivery. T.A.S. Communications was presented with the Award recently at the CAM-X 49th Annual Convention and Trade Show held at the Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda.

Independent judges are contracted by CAM-X to evaluate message services throughout North America over a six-month period.  The criteria for scoring include courtesy, response time, accuracy and overall service to their clients.  If the company scores 80% or better in ALL categories, they are presented with the coveted Award of Excellence.  The program is now in its 24th year.

Since the inception of this awards program, the level of service provided by member participants has increased tenfold.  I congratulate T.A.S. Communications for their achievements.“ 

Now a seventeen-time winner, T.A.S. Communications earned the Diamond Plus Award for seventeen consecutive years. CAM-X extends its congratulations to the staff of T.A.S. Communications on their proven quality service to their customers.  


Team Connect & Protect Rocks the County Marathon

Not only was T.A.S. Communications the proud supplier of communications for the 9th Annual County Marathon, on October 14th, we joined forces with sister company Alarm Systems to form Marathon Relay Team “Connect and Protect”.

Comprehensive Breast Assessment Program opens at QHC Trenton Memorial

October 12, 2010 marked the official opening of the Comprehensive Breast Assessment Program (CBAP) at QHC Trenton Memorial.

Our very own Kristin Crowe, President of T.A.S. Communications, spoke at the opening. Kristin was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 2009 and is a strong supporter of the CBAP and its vision.

The Program will offer prevention tactics, early detection with a two-week turnaround time on pathology reports, treatment, and referrals to community resources. Most importantly it will become a place of hope and healing for everyone.
